The Carolands

The Mural pictured here was featured in the kitchen over the antique iron stove at the Carolands Decorator Showhouse. Originally built by the heir to the Pullman railroad car company, recently purchased by the heir to Ghiradelli Chocolate, The Carolands estate until recently was the largest private residence West of the Mississippi incorporating 60,000 square feet in a French Chateau style.

Note that the Mural incorporates Unique features of Carolands. The window is architectural and is prominent when driving up to the Estate. The copper pot picks up the Logo of the stove, The peppers and cauliflower are inspired by the wallpaper and fabric for the stools.
