Easy to Install: |
|
|
- Beginning with the initial wood
or metal framing studs,
- cut the wedi building panels
to size.
|
 |
|
 |
Fasten
the wedi building panels to framing using galvanized screws.
Be sure to use the wedi washers as
well. |
|
|
After
fastening the wedi building panels be sure to cover all exposed
foam edges and joints with waterproof
sealing tape and multi-purpose thinset mortar. You are now
ready to set tile! |

Due
to the Size of the building panels, we are unable to ship Wedi
panels via UPS. They need to be shipped on a pallet. There is
also a minimum order of 10 panels. A quote for shipping via LTL
will be provided once we receive your order. |

The blue core of the wedi building
panel is made from "Styrofoam"* extruded polystyrene.
Both sides of the rigid foam are reinforced with glass fibre
fabric and coated with synthetic resin modified mortar.
This makes the wedi building panel ideal for all tile installations.
It can be fastened to any substrate. The wedi building panel
is waterproof and heat-insulating and also serves as a steam
barrier. Because it is lightweight and stable, it can be put
to many uses. |
