Important Information
The GS series many sizes and shapes as well as it's stone like quality and color, makes it a great product to mix with many popular stones and other products.
There a only a few places this product should not be used.
1. Do not use around the opening of any firebox or area of extreme heat. It is all right to use around the face of a fireplace, just not applied to the metal box. You can lath and scratch over the metal and apply product but keep out of the inside edge area.
2. Do not use in a submerged water condition.
3. When using in any wet area, inside or out (other than submerged) it must be sealed with good penetrating sealer to avoid moisture penetration.
4. Do not use Flat Stock on floors.
When Cutting NOCE color:
Pieces MUST be dipped in clean water right away as residue powder will lighten the dark color and leave a film on the surface that will be difficult, if not impossible, to wash off later.
	Installation Instructions
All products, especially flat stock, should have full coverage of 100% full acrylic thin-set on the back as well as on the substrate.
We recommend Using Mapei Ultra-Flex 3 polymer modified mortar or comparable Product.
When installing outside or in a wet area, product must be sealed with a good penetrating sealer to help avoid moisture penetration. Please remember to wipe all products clean prior to sealing. It is recommended to Seal again after grouting to help seal the grout from moisture penetration.
It is not recommended to install this product in a submerged water condition, however, Wall Fountains, Showers, Tubs, Splashes are all acceptable usage as long as the product has been sealed after grouting.
Failure to follow Installation instructions above will negate remedy on any installation problems that arise.
	8"x16" Flat Stock
This component should not be confused with so called "Field Tile". It is a piece of stock to be used as a building tool along with other components in the line. It can be cut from the 8"x16" to any smaller size needed as a fill on projects being built, such as fireplace or fountain. It can also be used in the 8"x16" format or cut into brick shape, squares or linear pieces to use as a background, backsplash or wainscot. It is not designed for floor use or high use countertop, but can be used on top of mantels, hearths, a pass thru, some vanities and of course most any vertical application.
