On this page we are showing two projects, the Deluna and Kwan families. In the Deluna kitchen, we installed a granite countertop and the entire backsplash was painted of a village in Colombia South America, the family roots. The photo of the West wall was taken before painting the light switches and electrical outlets. To paint the plastic outlets, we needed to use acrylic paint and match the mural after the tile work was installed. You can see the difference in the photo of the South and East wall. Details like this can be significant.

The second project is a swimming pool. The mural includes tiles on the bottom of the pool with chinese symbols for good fortune, and representatives of each member of the family. We originally started this project when the house was built in 1990. The pool was installed in 1998, and it took several months to complete the entire underwater mural. Care had to be taken in designing the fish due to the fact that when the pool is filled with water, a foreshortening occurs, the oversized Koi appear much smaller when viewed through the water. the back wall includes 3 waterfall fountains.
